Welcome to Wednesdays On Writing!
As the name implies, Wednesdays are now all about writing here at WebCopyResults.com – so let’s look at some of the topics you’ll find within this Content Theme.
Of course, creating great content and web copy lies at the heart of any Content Marketing program. If you are a “DIY SEO-er“, then developing better writing skills across a variety of formats is important – and that is what Wednesdays On Writing is all about.
Depending on your goals and objectives, you may need to create any of the following for your own Content Marketing program:
- Blog Posts
- Guest Blog Inquiries
- On-site Articles and Web Pages
- Off-site Articles (Article Marketing)
- Press Releases
- ENewsletter Content
- Autoresponder Series
- Sales Letters or Pages
- White Papers
- Squidoo Lenses or HubPages
- Author Resource Box
- Offline Marketing Materials: Postcards, Brochures and Sales Letters
Each week, we’ll focus on specific ideas, tips and templates for each of these Content Marketing formats (plus a few more I probably forgot to mention here!
) In addition, we’ll also cover more basic writing topics, including pointers on style and grammar, ways to tighten up your writing and how to write with your specific audience in mind.
More than anything, I’d like to hear from you and build this section around what would be most helpful to YOU. This site exists to be of service to you – so please leave a comment below to let me know what you’d like to see covered. (WebCopyResults.com is a Do Follow site!)
Til Next Time,
PS Anne Lamott’s Bird by Bird: Some Instructions on Writing and Life is a great resource for any writer – it has been on my own bookshelf (and on my desk… and on my floor…
) for more than 10 years – and I still refer to it often. Definitely worth checking out!

Hi Angie
Great – autoresponders are going to be a BIG focus here shortly.
What, specifically is it about writing articles that challenges you?
My two biggest struggles in writing would be articles and autoresponder messages. Looking forward to learning more from you.
