Welcome to the final Content Theme of the week – Short Post Saturdays. These posts will offer quick tips and inspiration, plus practical ideas you can apply for immediate results.
To launch this theme, let’s take a look a very simple Action Plan Template you can use to better organize your daily to-do list. (Ideally, your daily activities will feed directly into and support your weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly and long-term goals).
To create your own Action Plan Template, take out a sheet of paper and divide it right down the middle. Then, label one side “A” Activities and the other side “B” Activities. (“A” activities are those that move you toward your short-term and long-term goals; whereas “B” activities do not).
Then, go through your daily to-do list and/or appointment calendar and sort each item into one of these two categories.
I picked up the idea of dividing tasks into A and B activities from Brian Tracy a number of years ago. I love how simple this approach is – and how well it works. (I haven’t looked at watching TV the same way since!
