Include Video on a Web Page: Just Copy and Paste

by Trish Lindemood on December 9, 2009

Quick post today to let you know that 2005 has officially left the building here at WebCopyResults.com! :) I just posted the first ever video clip in the Content Marketing Toolbox.

I can’t believe I didn’t do this sooner.  However, as I work on my 2010 Business Plan, one thing I am really focused on is how to make the site better. More interactive. More dynamic.

In other words, what can I do to make WebCopyResults.com a more valuable resource for you?

One way I plan to enhance the site going forward is to add video and audio elements. This has been something I’ve been wanting to do for some time, but honestly – I let my lack of “tech-savvyness” (is that a word?) get in the way.

Well, now that I see how simple it is to do – I feel a little silly about it. :) It is a matter of simply copying and pasting some code into the HTML screen of a page or post within WordPress. (Keep in mind – I am talking about adding a video created by someone else at this point – I will tackle the process of creating and uploading my own in the near future).

Anyway, I am really excited to share this clip with you. I think you’ll agree – this short clip, created by my friends Steve and Eddie over at InteractMedia,  spells out clearly what Content Marketing is all about – and how it can help your business succeed online.

Excellent video! I really enjoyed it. And I know what you mean about getting focused on making our sites better, I have that goal for 2010 too. I want to be brave enough to add my own video but the tech stuff stops me big time. I have to just get over it LOL
