Customer Service: Going the Extra Mile

by Trish Lindemood

Have you ever had a great experience with a business owner who went way above and beyond to make sure you were happy with his or her products or services?

Well, I just did – and I wanted to share it with you.

I’m not sure if you’ve noticed the nice big email sign-up box over in the upper right-hand corner. I’ve gotten a few compliments on it so far and it seems to be doing a great job attracting attention all by itself. :-)   That particular opt-in box comes as part of a larger package of awesome squeeze page templates from OptinDesign.com.  (Important Note: That is NOT an affiliate link – I am simply sharing this with you because I am pretty darn happy with my purchase).

At any rate, I was unhappy with the old boring “standard” email opt-in box I had on the site – and really wanted to add this one.

However, I am NOT a techie (at all) and get very easily frustrated with anything  remotely related to web programming – especially if it involves 3-letter acronyms such as CSS or FTP.  It’s just not my thing. At all. So, I reached out to Kidino (from OptinDesign.com) on a couple of occassions with questions regarding installing (and then converting over to aWeber) – and was blown away by how helpful and responsive he was on each occassion.  Thanks to him, the aWeber conversion is now complete and I can finally get back on track with my weekly email marketing tips!

So – a HUGE thank you to Kidino at OptinDesign.com for all of your help – and thanks to all of you for your patience while I underwent the conversion over to aWeber.

Til Next Time,

Signature

P.S. I’ll write more soon on why I decided to switch to aWeber for my eNewsletter.  The most important thing I learned from this process, however, is to select the right provider for your business EARLY in the process because if you change your mind later, you run the risk of losing a lot of your subscribers (because they will need to “Opt-in” again).

Now that I mention it, if you’ve already signed up for WebCopyResults.com Weekly Tips – you will soon be asked to opt-in again (sorry!).  If you could please reconfirm your subscription, I would really appreciate it. I promise it won’t happen again! :)

I have heard great things about Kidino.

I haven’t received a confirmation to re-opt in yet, at least I don’t think so ha ha

LOL – The fact you haven’t received it yet is no fault of Kidino’s – that is sure! ;)

You’ll get it later today – I am finishing up importing my list this afternoon.

Oh definitely not his fault, I totally understand. And I got the confirmation so I’m all set. YEA!
